Our Ethos
The ethos and philosophy of the clinic is to promote a preventative and
patient-centred service. The clinic makes high quality medical care accessible to all, and allows secondary
referrals to a range of Consultants when a specialist opinion is sought. This private medical service has
benefited patients and companies in Nottingham & throughout the UK since May 2001.
The NHS offers an excellent product that caters for most of the health needs
of the UK populous. However, such a state funded system is subject to certain constraints, with rationing
and lengthy waits for investigations and referrals to hospital consultants being well documented examples.
We offer an alternative route to high quality medicine without such constraints.
More importantly there are many people who are unsure how to access local medical services for example, visitors
to the UK or those staying in Nottingham for a few days, perhaps with relatives or in hotels. This facility
therefore offers an important access point to primary medical care.
Will this replace my NHS General Practitioner?
No. Ours is a service service aimed at augmenting the excellent work being
undertaken by NHS General Practitioners. We encourage feedback to the NHS GP wherever possible
How Can I Benefit From This New Service?
Many medical research papers have suggested that patients want a service that
provides: Rapid access. More time to deal with problems. Flexible appointment to times to suit modern working
patterns. Continuity - with a doctor familiar with their personal medical histories We aim to address some of
these requests.
